Brooklyn Wakefield

Class of 2025

My name is Brooklyn Wakefield, I am a current student at Olin College of Engineering. I have a passion for design work both in software and hardware. I am currently looking for an internship during the summer of 2022.

Throughout high school, I completed AOIT I-III which were advanced computer science-based classes. Some examples of the projects I did are in the AOIT tab sections. AOIT I was a class mainly meant to teach professional computing skills like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, technical writing, and computer hardware. AOIT II covered a variety of coding languages like HTML, CSS, C++, and javascript. AOIT III gave me the freedom to do an independent study of my choice - I chose to do website development.

During my time in high school and transition into college, I participated in many internships some of which are listed in the tab above. Under the more tab are clubs that I found most important on my journey to become an engineer.

Here at Olin, I'm a member of a project team called Design-build fly and we are working together to build an RC plane for the 26th Annual Design, Build, Fly Competition in Kansas. I also take part in paid undergraduate research at Olin with OSSTP, focusing on website development.
